Changing the rules for accessing the Temp folder
During the installation or removal of applications, third-party software gains access to some system components. This is a standard process that is necessary for the stable operation of the software. However, the computer may block access to system components, which is why you see an error when installing or uninstalling the application. To troubleshoot, you will need to allow access to the Temp folder:
- Launch Explorer.
- Navigate to C:\Windows.
- Right-click on the Temp directory and open Properties.
- In the “Security” tab, change the access settings for the current Windows profile
